The total result is not yet available, but it is well over £100. On both days there were
excellent attendances, and buying was brisk. On Wednesday evening several articles
were put up for sale by auction, including a fowl which was eventually sold to the
Mayor for £3. The result must be most gratifying to the members of the War Working
Party and other helpers who have worked so hard for the success.
