between Bigshot Lodge and the Three Oaks, aforesaid, within the  said Forest, and
                   county of Berks aforesaid which had been also unlawfully shot at and killed with a
                   bullet,  by  some  person  hitherto  unknown,  and  which  appeared  by  its  head  to  be  a
                   three-year old Deer:

                                                 NOTICE is hereby given
                      That  whoever the person or persons, who shot at  and killed the said  two several
                   Deer, or either of them, and will give notice to THOMAS COX, Esq; Ranger orr Head
                   Keeper  of  Bigshot  Walk  aforesaid,  so  that  such  offenders  may  be  brought  to
                   person or persons making such discovery shall     conviction, receive a Reward of Ten
                   Guineas     either of them, to be paid by his Royal    DUKE OF GLOUCESTER, Lord
                   War    Forest, over and above the penalty allow    Parliament for such offences.

                                             The Wokingham Turnpike Road
                   GENTLEMEN,
                      THE Surveyorship of the aforesaid Road being now vacant by the death of the late
                   Mr Basnett, I beg leave to offer myself to succeed him in the capacity. Provided I have
                   your approbation, and should be chosen Surveyor, I am determined to pay a strict
                   attention to the interest of the Proprietors, and the benefit of the Road, and therefore
                   humbly request the favour of your votes and interest.

                   N.B. The election will be on Monday the 3rd of January next, at the Old Rose Inn,
                   Wokingham, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.

                   him in that capacity.
                      Should I be so happy as to be chosen to that station, I beg leave to assure you, that
                   it shall be my constant endeavour to deserve the favour conferred on me, by faithfully
                   discharging  the  duties  of  that    trust:  I  therefore  earnestly  solicit  your  vote  and
                   interest.
