much frightened, and thought persons were in their room; several who were up saw
                   the things about them shake, but happily no mischief was done.

                      We are informed from Egham in Worcestershire that a shock of an earthquake was
                   felt there the same evening about eleven o’clock.

                                                WOKINGHAM COACH
                   CONTINUES  FLYING  every  Morning  (Sundays  excepted)  at  six  o’clock,  (in  five
                   hours) from the New Rose Inn, Wokingham, to the Swan with Two Necks, Doctors
                   Commons, and returns from thence at twelve o’clock at noon to Wokingham. Prices
                   for passengers and luggage as usual. Places taken at the above inns, and at the White
                   Bear, Piccadilly
                      As  the  proprietors  are  resolved  to  accommodate  their  customers  in  the  most
                   agreeable manner possible, they are determined, should were places be select for the
                   Coach the number it usually carries, be forward then in Post-Chaises, at the usual
                   price of the Coach.
                      It stops as usual at the White Bear  and Old White Horse Cellar for parcels  and
                   passengers; at the Red Lion, Egham; at Sunninghill Wells; Hind’s Head, and Bull, at
                   Bracknell.
                                                A NEAT POST COACH
                             (By permission of his Royal Highness) every day, by that most delightful
                   situation the Lodge, and through those agreeable villas of Winkfield, Warfield, and
                   Binfield.

                      Whereas many reports have been circulated round the country, signifying that the
                   Proprietors  instead  dropping  the  NEW  WOKINGHAM  COACH,  we  beg  leave  to
                   assure the public, that the same is  absolutely false, as  we are determined by every
                   possible  manner  in  our  power,  to  deserve  the  favours  we  have  received,  by
                   accommodations genteel as the nature of the conveyance will admit.
                      All  demands  on  us  as  Coach  Proprietors,  are  desired  to  be  sent  to  Mr.  Thomas
                   Massey, book-keeper, at Egham.
                      If  any  lady  or  gentleman  find  any  cause  of  complaint,  for  over-charge,  or
                   misbehaviour from Coachmen, they are humbly requested to signify the same to Mr.
                   Massey or any of the Proprietors.
