                                             WOKINGHAM, November 16
                      The public are advised to be careful in taking guineas in payment, as numbers of
                   false ones are daily circulating, which are well gilt and counterfeited, and os the last
                   coinage of Geo, II but easily distinguished by their lightness.

                      We hear there is a person in custody for stealing the Wokingham mail bag, which
                   was lost a few weeks since.

                      Early on Tuesday morning two military Gentlemen in a post-chaise were attacked
                   near Bellfound-lane, by a single highway man, who demanded their money; but on
                   seeing a loaded blunderbuss presented by one of the Officers, he rode off full speed.
