JOHN CHAPLIN
RETURNS his grateful THANKS to the Nobility, Gentry and others, for the many
Favours they have conferred on him, for upwards of twenty years: and takes the
earliest Opportunity of informing them that he has removed from the ROSE INN, in
the Market-place, to the
NEW ROSE INN in Peak-street.
Which he has fitted in a Genteel manner for their Accommodation, and humbly hopes
for a continuance if their Favours.
Neat Post Chaise and Saddle Horses.

To be LETT, and entered upon, Immediately
A convenient house, in Peake-street, with a garden, and some Outhouses which
have been lately used in the Currying Business.
For Particulars enquire of Mr. SAMUEL WALLEN, of Wokingham, aforesaid.
All Persons who are indebted to the Estate of Mr. SIMON HOULTON, of
Wokingham, Cooper, lately deceased, are desired to pay their respective Debts to MR.
FRANCIS HOLTON, at the Rose and Crown, Queenhithe, London, who is Executor
of the last will and Testament os the said Simon Houlton (he having proved the said
Will in the proper Court) or to Mr. Jon Bennett, of Wokingham, Carpenter, who is
properly authorised by the said Francis Houlton to receive the same, and to no other
Person whomsoever, And all Persons having any Demands on the Estate of the
Deceased, are desired forthwith to give in an Account thereof unto the said Francis
Houlton, or John Bennett.

BUSH INN, WOKINGHAM
Mr. Wheatley takes this Opportunity to acquaint the Nobility, Gentry, and Others,
that in order to accommodate them in a genteel and elegant manner, he has taken the
Old Rose, (late Molly Moggs) and fitted it up in a manner, he flatters himself which
will merit their Approbation, where he hopes the deficiencies if his House, the Bush
(which is now joined to the Rose) will be amply made amends for. Mr. Wheatley
returns his most grateful Acknowledgements to those who have hitherto honoured him
with their Custom, and hopes this Step will more than ever attach them to his House,
and be a Means of inviting Strangers where they will meet with the Accommodation,
and the most civil Usage.
Mr. Wheatley’s Concert will be in the latter Part of this month; the Particulars
of which will be advertised in a future Paper.
N.B. A small House, with a Shop in Front, situate in the Market-place, to be Lett.
