                                                 STORMY WEATHER
In tropical weather thunder was heard in Wokingham district on Thursday. At 1.45

adjoining the Reading-road. A hole was made in the chimney pot and the electric
current then split the stack from top to base and dislodged some tiles. The house has
lately undergone considerable repair. Some workmen employed on the building were
lying down close to the struck building, but no one was hurt.
