were distributed. The Pastor and Mrs. Guyton, Mr. W. Foster (superintendent), and
the teachers were present. Games (organised by Mr. Billen), items given by Miss

ST. PAUL’S CHURCH
INDUCTION OF THE REV. VISCOUNT MOUNTMORRES
For the second time in three years, St. Paul’s church and parish witnessed an
induction to its rectory, when, on Wednesday afternoon, the rector-elect, the rev.
Viscount Mountmorres, was instituted and inducted. The proceedings were of an
impressive character.
The Lord Bishop of Oxford officiated at the ceremony, and was attended by the
Archdeacon of Berks and the Rural Dean of Sonning.
Following the hymns, “Lord, pour Thy Spirit from on high,” “Come Holy Ghost,”
and prayers, the Bishop, seated in a chair at the chancel entrance, received the
presentation by the patron, Mr. John Walter, of the rector-elect who then made the
usual declarations.
