Notice is hereby given to all Gentlemen Gardeners and Florists, that on Monday the
                     th
                   16  inst. At Wm. Fouch’s, the sign of the Red Lion, Wokingham, the following Prizes
                   will be given, viz.---A handsome Piece of Plate, of 15s. value, to him that shews half a
                   dozen of the best and completed trusses of AURICULAS, one of  a fort, not less than
                   five pips upon each truss. Also, a handsome Piece of Plate, of 10s. value, to him that
                   shews half a dozen of the best trusses of POLYANTHOS’S, not less than five pips
                   upon each, and to prove on oath that his blossoms are of his own blowing, from his
                   own plants. The prizes to be determined by three umpires, chosen by the majority of
                   the company. Dinner to be on the table at one o’clock precisely.
                      Tickets, 3s. 6d. each, dinner included. Every person to be entitled to one shilling’s
                   worth of liquor.

                   MRS.  CAROLINE  TRASH,  Widow  of  MR.  SAMUEL  TRASH.  Of  Wokingham,
                   PAINTER and GLAZING, lately deceased, begs to inform all their old friends and
                   customers, as well as the public in general, that she shall carry on the same business,
                   in  all  its  branches  as  well  as  the  DRAPERY  and  UNDERTAKING  business,  as
                   before; and humbly hopes for a continuance of their favours, and shall make it her
                   utmost  endeavour  to  have  the  business  executed  (by  her  eldest  son,  and  proper
                   assistants) in as punctual and good a manner as it always used to be in her husband’s
                   life time.

                   TO be Lett, and entered upon at Michaelmas next, a FARM HOUSE with convenient
                   barn, stable, cow-house and out-buildings, and several closes of arable and meadow;
                   containing  between  70  and  80  acres,  situate  in  the  parish  of  Wokingham,  in  the
                   counties of Wilts and Berks, called Hammond’s Farm.
                      Also Two Closes of Arable Land, containing about seven acres, situate next Church-
                   Lane in Wokingham parish.
                      The above mentioned premises are in the occupation of Farmer John May.
                      Also a Barn with several Closes of Meadow and Arable Land, containing between
                   30  and  40  acres,  called  Norrie’s  Lands,  situate  in  Wokingham  parish,  in  the
                   occupation of John Jennings.

                      By a written catalogue, on the premises, without reserve, on Wednesday, the 23  of
                   May, 1781, All the IMPLEMENTS in the HUSBANDRY BUSINESS, &c. at Keep
                   Hatch Farm, in the parish of Wokingham, Berks; consisting of several waggons, one
                   large very good-gilted narrow-wheel ditto fit for the road or a mealman, four dung
                   carts, swing ploughs, harrows, drags, rollers, winnowing fans, earth screens, sieves,
                   shovels, bushels, prongs, and several pair of trace and thill harness, two nine stone  a
                   strong cyder press, three draft horses, several parcels of chalk and dung with various
                   other articles
                      To  be  viewed  the  day  preceding  and  morning  of      beginning  precisely  at  eleven
                   o’clock…..had at the premises, or of Francis Collins   Wokingham.
