9 Burial

The time capsule was buried outside of the Town Hall main entrance and on the 21 August
2018 a special ceremony was held to add the cap stone which depicts the dates 2018 and
2068 with two acorns, which was placed over the burial place. I attended the event
representing the Wokingham Society along with Wokingham Town Council Mayor Cllr Julian
McGhee-Sumner, Wokingham Borough Council Deputy Mayor Cllr Bill Soane and his
Mayoress Mrs Hilary Soane, and previous Mini-Mayor Caitlin Hyde.
