Returns his Thanks to those Friends who have favoured him with, children, and
hopes for their continuance; and hereby informs them and the public that his School
will open on Monday January 6, 1799.
The children committed to his care will have every attention paid to their morals,
and be taught to spell accurately; to distinguish between words of the same sound; to
read with a proper emphasis; and speak with propriety. Likewise instructed in the
improved mode of Writing and A counts.
N.B. The terms easy and vacations short.

Goods suitable to be present season particularly for this Winter. Prints, Stuffs,
Calimancos, Wild boars, Bombazets, Bombazeens, Flannels, Bed Ticks, Blankets,
Counterpanes, Sheetings, Dowlass, 4-4 and 7-8, Dish Cloths, 7-8 Colerains, Checks,
Scarlet Cardinals, quilted Coats, Silk Handkerchiefs, Modes, Umbrellas,, Oil Covers;
Men’s, Womens, and Children’s Hose, Ready-made Cloths, a variety of Fancy
Waistcoatings, Cords for Breeches, Coating Cloths, with a large assortment of men’s
and Boys Hats.
Funerals generally furnished, and attended to any different part.
Wool bought.
