Will be held at the Old Rose Inn, on Monday the 23 of April, 1798, when the
person that shews six of the best Trusses of Auriculas, not less than six pips on a
truss, will be entitled to a piece of plate. Also pieces of plate for the second and third
best ditto.
Also three pieces of plate for the six first, second and third best blown trusses of
Polyanthas, not less than nine pips on each truss.
Likewise three pieces of plate for the six first second and third best blown stalks of
Hyacinths, twelve bells on each stalk.
Every person to prove on oath that the plants have been in his possession from
December, 1797.
Dinner on the table precisely at one o’clock—Tickets 6d. each, which will entitle
each person to his dinner and one shilling’s worth of liquor.

Wool bought and Funerals furnished,
