CRICKET CLUB REFORMED
The first annual meeting of Wokingham Cricket Club since 1941 was held on
Monday at Wokingham Club. Cllr. L.D. Sears, elected to the chair, said that he was
keen to see cricket in Wokingham back to the standard he remembered some years
ago. He stressed the need for enthusiasm and co-operation.
Election of officers resulted: President, Cllr. L.D. Sears; hon secretary, Mr. H.
Knapp; hon. treasurer, Mr. P.W. Fry; match secretary, Mr. J. Langley, 12 Milton
Road, Wokingham. To the committee were elected Messrs. A.T. Ilott, E. Mundy, H.R.

to a further meeting.
