                          THOMAS  BROOKES  respectfully  informs  the  friend  and  customers  of  the
                          late  Mrs.  Mary  Grassingham,  and  the  public  in  general  that  he  means  to
                          continue the business as usual, and hopes for a continuance of their favours.
                             N.B. all persons having any demands on the estate and effects of the said
                          Mary  Grassingham,  are  desired  to  send  an  account  of  the  same  to  the  said
                          Thomas Brookes. And all persons indebted to the said estate, are desired to
                          pay the same to him.

                                                            BERKS
                          Stolen  out  of  a  Stable  at  Wokingham,  on  Friday  night  the  3d  instant,  A
                          BLACK GALLOWAY with a cut tail, about 13 hands and a half high, aged,
                          rather low backed and gorged. Also lost out of a close at Wokingham the same
                          night, a Two years old BROWN COLT, brown muzzle, blaze down the face,
                          leg  behind  white  higher  than  the  fetterlock,  tail  lately  pulled,  and  about  13
                          hands  three  inches  high.  Half-a-Guinea  Reward  for  the  recovery  of  the
                          Gelding will be given by Francis Allwright; and, Half-a-Guinea for the Colt,
                          by John Fennemore, both of Wokingham; and a Guinea, on the conviction of
                          the person or persons that stole either of them,.

                             Wednesday last died, at Matthews-Green house, Mrs. Martin, relict of Edwin
                          Martin Esq. late of Southcot in this county.
