A COUNTRY HOUSE
To be LETT, and entered on immediately. A neat Brick and Sashed HOUSE,
pleasantly situated near the town of Wokingham in the county of Berks,
adjoining to the turnpike road, in a fine Sporting country, on the edge of
Windsor Forest; consisting of two parlours, a kitchen, wash-house with a
pump in the cellar, wine vault, four good bed-chambers, two garrets, two
coach-houses, stable and pump in the stable yard, with a good garden wall
planted near 300 yards long and forty yards wide with a well in it,, summer-
house, &c.---The rent reasonable
A Close adjoining between two and three acres, new laid down with grass,
may be had with it, if required

BERKS
To Be LETT, and entered upon at Lady-Day. EMMBROOK-HOUSE,
pleasantly situate within half a mile of Wokingham, and six of Reading.
Together with from 10 to 27 acres of arable and meadow land, an exceedingly
good orchard and garden, divided from the meadow land by a canal; a good
stew pond in the garden, well stocked with fish; a coach house, stable, barn,
granary, and other convenient offices.
The house consists of an hall, two parlours, kitchen, &c. on the ground floor;
good cellars, four bed-chambers, with useful closets and garrets; a brew-house,
dairy, &c. detached.

BERKSHIRE
(Extract)
At the assizes for this county, held here on Tuesday last, the five following
prisoners were capitally convicted, and received sentence of death, but are all
since reprieved, viz—Henry Frewin, for marrying two wives, was sentenced to
be twice publicly whipped at Wokingham, and imprisoned in bridewell two
years.

The beautiful Chestnut Horse, SPOT
This is the third season of his covering; and he is a remarkable sure foal
getter, upwards of 15 hands high, and was got by Otho, out of a famous mare
called Zephyr, which was got by Squirrel, a good racer—Spot started the first
time at Newmarket, July 7 1779, and beat Sir C. Davers’s Wormwood, Mr.
Vernon’s Alert, Lord Clermont’s Foppington, Duke of Grafton’s Rubicon, and
