determined          Alderman & Head Burgesses of the Town or three of them by such manner
                                   of proceedings & wayes according to the Law & custom of our Kingdom

                                   of England by such as & so far forth as shall be agreeable to our Laws  &
                                   in ample & in such like manner & form as in any other Court of Record in
               All processes to be  any Borough or other Town Incorporate within this Kingdom of England

               executed by the     as usual & accustomed or may or ought to be done And moreover Wee
               Serjeants           Will & for us our heirs & successors Wee ordain that the Serjeants of the

                                   aforesaid Town for the time being do & execute all impannelled Jurys of
                                   Inquest  attachments  precepts  mandate  Warrant  Judgement  process  &
                                   whatsoever other things to be done concerning the aforesaid causes within

                                   the  aforesaid  Town  the  Libertys  &  preccints  thereof  as  they  shall  be
                                   charged according to the necessity of the Law & so far forth as is usual or

                                   ought to be done in the causes in any Court of record in any Borough or
                                   Town Corporate within this Kingdom of England And further Wee Will &
               A Guildhall         by these presents for us our heirs & successors Wee grant to the aforesaid

                                   Alderman & Burgesses of the aforesaid Town & their successors that they
                                   & their successors may have a Guildhall in the Town aforesaid Wee Will
                                   also & by these presents for us our heirs & successors Wee grant to the

               Prison or Gaol      said Alderman & Burgesses of the aforesaid Town & to their successors
                                   that they henceforth for ever may & shall have within the aforesaid Town a
                                   prison  or  Gaol  to  imprison  retain  &  keep  safe  Felons  &  Trespassers  &

                                   other malefactors & prisoners therein from time to time until they ought to
                                   be delivered by due course of Law & this without gainsaying trouble or lett

                                   of  us  our  heirs  &  successors  or  other  Sheriffes  Bayliffes  Officers  or
                                   Ministers of ours our heirs or successors whosoever And further Wee Will
                                   by  these  presents  for  us  our  heirs  &  successors  Wee  grant  unto  the

               Powder & all        Thursday next before the Lords day called commonly in English Shrove
