A Grant of all of them be not to the hindrance or damage of other neighbouring Marketts
manner of Libertys & faires thereabouts And further Wee Will & by these presents for us our
& Lands heirs & successors We grant & confirm to the aforesaid Alderman &
Tenements Wasts Burgesses of the aforesaid Town & their successors all & all manner of
& Void Grounds Libertyes franchisements & freedoms exemplifications priviledges
quietnesses jurisdictions lands tenements wasts void ground commons &
hereditaments whatsoever which the Alderman inhabitants & tenants of the
aforesaid Town of Wokingham now have hold use & enjoy or which any
of them or their predecessors by whatsoever names or name or by
whatsoever incorporation heretofore they have had held used & enjoyed or
ought to have held used & enjoyed of estate of inheritance by reason or
presence of any Charters or Letters Patents by any of our progenitors or
predecessors lately Kings or Queens of England howsoever heretofore
made granted or confirmed or by whatsoever other lawfull meanes right
Title Customs use prescriptions heretofore lawfully used had or
accustomed although the same or any one or more have not been used
heretofore or have been abused or discontinued & although the same or
any one or more of them have been forfeited or lost To hold & enjoy to the
aforesaid Alderman & Burgesses of the Town aforesaid & their successors
forever Yielding & paying thereout to us our heirs & successors yearly as
many as great such the self same of such sort & such like rents services
pence sumes & demands whatsoever howmanysoever how great of what
sort & which have been accustomed or ought to be yielded & paid to us
heretofore for the same Wherefore Wee Will & by these presents for us
our heirs & successors we firmly charge & command that the aforesaid
Alderman & Burgesses of the aforesaid Town & their successors have hold
use & enjoy & fully freely & entirely may have hold use & enjoy for ever
all Libertys free customs priviledges authorities jurisdictions & quietancy
aforesaid according to the tenor & effect of these our Letters patents
without occasion or impediment of us our heirs or successors whomsoever
